Misleading

The cover of this book makes you think it has a formula for losing 22 lbs in 30 days using the Ketogenic diet but it does NOT. I was very disappointed to see that only through "bonus" material from a different author it offers a plan that does not even follow the Ketogenic plan at all. It made me wonder if Sparks even read what she attached to her Kindle version of her book. Ketogenic is approximately 75% fat intake, 5% carbs and 20% protein. The "bonus" material promotes only 20% fat which is dramatically different. The recipes in the book look good and i will try a few but i was influenced to purchase the kindle book thinking Sparks would offer a plan for using the Ketogenic diet as well as recipes. I felt mislead.

Good collection of quick recipes but didn't find the "boot camp"

The title of this book implies it's going to teach you how to lose 22# in 30 days. It has a very brief introduction about the benefits of the KETO diet but doesn't give you any kind of 30 day plan it simply gives you a few quick & easy recipes for each meal. The most annoying part of the book is a "bonus" that gives you brief information about another diet program that you can purchase if you go to the next step. Save your money and go back to the "ruled me" program that spells out what to do and why. Good luck.

Not very useful if you're looking to learn about the ketogenic diet

I guess if you already know everything about the Ketogenic diet - this boot may be useful. It has one intro page, with no details on the keto diet other than its low carb high fat and high protein. I guess as long as that is all you need to know (but it's not); you'll be informed and ready. the rest of the book is just a listing of recipes (no pictures) - then the ingredient section is a mess- shows what you need for each individual recipe - but does not say week one you need to buy xyz for the week one recipes. So unless you want to go through an manually create and add up your own grocery list, its not very helpful either. I was hoping for a bootcamp book that taught you what ketogenic diet was and its fundamental principles - i bought another book that was much more educational with at least triple the amount of recipies.
